Heishman's Blue Ridge Tire is a family owned and operated business. We have been open in the same location in Harrisonburg, Virginia since 1970. That means we have provided over 50 years of service to the valley. Our goal is to give our customers the service and the quality they pay for and deserve.

After serving in the US Navy and later managing a BFGoodrich® company owned store, Ken Heishman Sr opened Heishman's Blue Ridge Tire Inc at its current location in Harrisonburg in 1970. He has three children; Margie and Kenny, who work at the store with him, and David, who is currently in the US Navy.

We are proud to know lots of our customers by name, and we have served two and three generations of families in the area. We are grateful for the support of our business by local people, business owners, professionals, RMH, JMU and EMU faculty and staff, and even people as far away as across 33 in West Virginia, and north of Harrisonburg up I-81 as far as Winchester. We deal with JMU student’s parents on the phone in other states, and people out of town who are sending their wives, sons and daughters for service tell us that they are glad they can trust someone with their loved one’s vehicles when they aren’t physically there because they trust us to be honest and fair with them in a profession that sometimes has a reputation for taking advantage of people. Because our management team is our family, you don’t have to worry about being treated unfairly, or if you are going to deal with a different face every time you visit us. We live in your community every day, and our livelihood depends on the quality of our service to our neighbors, so we work hard to safeguard your trust.

We specialize in Tires, Custom Wheels, Wheel Alignment, Wheel Balancing, Steering Service, Suspension Service, Brake Service, Virginia State Inspection, Batteries, and Oil Changes. We also service TPMS tire systems, a new and evolving air pressure monitoring system, which is required by the government on newer cars and trucks (Click here to read more). We also perform Transmission Fluid Exchanges, Coolant Fluid Changes, and Fuel Induction Cleaning, and use BG Synthetic Products with the trans and fuel services.
